The Board governs between General Assemblies.
The Executive Board has nine members, elected by the General Assembly for four years: the President, two Vice-Presidents, the Secretary General, the Treasurer, three members and an athletes' representative. At least three are women, and no member may serve more than three terms in the same office.
The Board meets every month. It decides on recognition and good standing on the recommendation of the Membership and Legal Commission.
